The beginning of 2013 saw a huge milestone for breeders and enthusiasts of spotted horses everywhere: the very first DNA test for LP, the Leopard Complex or 'appaloosa' gene became available.
We are delighted to announce the 2017 Sportaloosa video foal futurity has been taken out by the very classy reining bred filly Petty Cash, bred and owned by Australian Coloured Performance Horses.
Petty Cash is sired by Snippen Cash (AQHA) out of Arny's Trail Of Tears.

Huge congratulations to all 2011 high point award achievers. Sportaloosa achievers do not simply accrue points in closed breed competitions, they take on the best of the rest in open competition and they do it well.
The 2015 Sportaloosa of the Year has been chosen and the winner - by popular vote - Cayuse Bling Du Rouet.
